Curb Tracker

Tracking your city's waste and curbside services

Know what's coming to your curb.

North Olmsted · Westlake · Lakewood · Olmsted Township

Leaf trucks, trash day, bulk pickup, the brush chipper, hazardous waste weeks. Your city publishes all of it, scattered across PDFs and mailers. Curb Tracker puts it on one page per town, and follows the live ones as they move.

What we track

Live leaf pickup

Street by street, as the trucks report it. Done is green, in progress is yellow, so you know whether to rake tonight.

Trash and recycling day

Your collection day, with the holiday weeks that push it back a day called out ahead of time.

Bulk pickup

When the couch can go out, how many items count, and what has to be wrapped or cut down first.

Brush chipping

Which week the chipper reaches your ward, and the 7 a.m. Monday deadline that goes with it.

Hazardous waste days

The few weeks a year when paint, solvents and pool chemicals have somewhere to go.

Drop-off events

Tires, campaign signs, holiday lights, shredding days: the one-off collections that are easy to miss.

How it works

  1. We read the city's own notices

The service mailer, the public works pages, the daily street list the leaf contractor posts. Nothing is guessed.

  2. We check the live ones all day

When a city posts progress, Curb Tracker picks it up within the half hour and redraws the map.

  3. You look before you haul

Find your street, see what's next, and get the leaves, the couch or the paint cans out on the right day.
